Press – The Sunday Business Post talks about the IMR Awards Gala

We were so pleased to be featured as part of the Sunday Business Post’s article this past Sunday, which spoke about the IMR Awards Gala which was held last month, and the vibrant manufacturing sector in Ireland.

Boston Scientific won two awards, with its Clonmel operation being named the Lean Manufacturing Company of the Year and its Cork business winning the  Best Use of Robotics accolade. Cobots.ie presented the award for Best Use of Robotics to Boston Scientific and ITS as its collaborator. ITS is a sister company to Cobots.ie

Our very own Dan Buckley was asked to comment on the contribution of ITS (sister company to Cobots.ie) to the Best Use of Robotics prize awarded to Boston Scientific.

ITS was delighted to be nominated for the Best Use of Robotics category, said managing director of Cobots.ie, Dan Buckley. “Working alongside the Boston Scientific team in Cork, led by Joe Devlin, we produced the most innovative and first truly collaborative robotic project in the country,” said Buckley. “Attention to detail, innovative use of technology and communication between engineering, manufacturing and health and safety proved to be a winning formula for this joint collaborative robotic cleanroom solution. ITS continue to lead the way, transforming business with this rapidly evolving technology.”

If you haven’t already guessed, we couldn’t be prouder of both the Cobots.ie and the ITS teams who were involved in the wining project in collaboration with Boston Scientific.
